Jennifer Love Hewitt on Jackie Chan

Jennifer Love Hewitt found it hard to understand action star Jackie Chan, but often got his jokes hours after hearing them.

The actress, who stars alongside Chan in new movie "The Tuxedo," admits that Chan's Far Eastern twang was often incomprehensible. But she says she occasionally saw the funny side of his jokes - even if it was long after he told the punchline.

She says, "We would have conversations, and then I would go back to my trailer, and about four hours later, I'd break out in laughter when I realised what he had actually said."

Hewitt says she enjoyed working with the Far East legend, and adds, "He trained me to do lots of kicking. It was great."
