Claire Danes to Act in T3

Actress Claire Danes has been given a surprise call-up to replace newcomer Sophia Bush in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," almost four weeks after the costly Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi picture started filming, the Hollywood Reporter said Monday.

Danes takes over the role of the romantic interest of John Conner (Nick Stahl), who tries to battle a advanced robots with his muscular cyborg pal.

According to the report, director Jonathan Mostow felt that Bush, who recently co-starred in "National Lampoon's Van Wilder," seemed a bit young for the part.
