Will Smith Launching Magazine

Will Smith is extending his talents to the world of publishing - by launching a magazine.

The actor/rapper is tired of the negative news on TV and wants to bring more positive items to light in the news publication, "Good News."

The Oscar-nominee has joined forces with Vivendi Universal Entertainment to make a pilot for next year. Will's Overbrook Entertainment claim the publications will tell stories "about the unique struggles and triumphs of inspirational individuals."

Will joins fellow celebrities Oprah Winfrey, Gene Simmons and Rosie O'Donnell who have launched their own publications.
