Alexis Bledel Takes on the Big Screen

She's already made it big on the TV screen, so this fall, "Gilmore Girls" star Alexis Bledel will make her big screen debut in Disney's "Tuck Everlasting," based on Natalie Babbitt's novel.

The story is about the Tucks, who have found a spring that grants immortality. Bledel plays Winnie Foster, who upon encountering the Tucks and finding out their "secret," is forced to choose between mortal life and immortality. The movie also stars industry heavyweights Ben Kingsley, William Hurt and Sissy Spacek.
