Britney Spears, Clothing Designer?

It was really only a matter of time: Grown-up pop diva Britney Spears has voiced her desire to break into the fashion biz.

"I have thought about that," the 20-year-old crooner admitted when asked if she wanted to launch her own line of clothing. "It would probably be something I do when I take a break; because I love clothes, I would really be able to put all my time and energy into it."

So, basically, don't hold your breath; Spears is currently quite a busy girl. Not only is she busy reading film scripts and building up her reel (she recently made her big-screen debut with "Crossroads"), but she's also prepping for her two-month North American tour which begins in May. In fact, she's so busy, she can't seem to find time to spend with her boyfriend for the last year and a half, *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake, a situation which may have caused the couple to break up.

According to several newspaper reports, Spears was seen drowning her sorrows at a Los Angeles nightclub early last week, after unidentified sources claimed the relationship between the two had fallen victim to their busy schedules.

Spears, though, has also been busy denying such reports.
