"Legally Blonde" star Reese Witherspoon is shocked people assume she's dumb just because she's a blonde actress.
Witherspoon, who attended a prestigious Ivy League university, has suffered the prejudice of actors not being considered very intelligent.
Talking to HotDog magazine she said: "I went to Stanford University, and people rolled their eyes and said, 'I bet I know how she got in.' But the truth of the matter is that I applied under my real name, Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon, which most people aren't really familiar with."
"But somebody even asked me if my agent got me into Stanford. I don't think so!"
