Kate Hudson Quits Movie

Despite pursuing the role and being openly excited about the project, Kate Hudson has dropped out of the movie "Girl with the Pearl Earring."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kate was to start shooting "Girl with the Pearl Earring" next month in the Netherlands. It's unclear as to why the actress backed out of the role and her publicists have denied comment. The movie's producers have cited "creative differences" in an attempt to explain the situation.

It seems Kate isn't the only one leaving the project, the movie's financial backer, Intermedia Films, has also backed out.
