Josh Hartnett: Talkin' About Shakespeare
Comments
Actor Josh Hartnett -- who has no fewer than six movies coming out in the coming months -- says he thinks that The Bard still speaks to today's young people.
Published reports indicate that Hartnett, whose newest movie "O" is a retelling of "Othello," feels that the basic concepts of most of Shakespeare's plays do well in modern times with a little modernization.
In "O" Hartnett plays a character based on Iago in "Othello." He plays the conniving son of a high school basketball coach.
By the way, the movie's release was put on hold in the wake of the Columbine High School shootings; it was then sold to a second distributor, which delayed its release until this summer.
