Lara Crofts in Big Bust-up
Angelina Jolie, the actress who plays the archaeologist Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider film, has upset a number of other celebs that helped make the heroine a cult figure.
According to reports, Jolie, 26, has banned all other 'Laras' from attending tonight's Leicester Square premiere for fear of being upstaged.
Model Nell McAndrew, who made appearances for a year to promote the Tomb Raider computer game, said she was very upset about not receiving an invitation.
McAndrew, 27, told The Sun newspaper: "I'm absolutely devastated. Angelina is a major Hollywood star so, of course, she will be the centre of attention. But it seems unfair that people like me, who helped make Lara Croft a huge success, shouldn't be part of the premiere."
She also said that she had bought a 350 rubber outfit especially for the event.
Other models that have appeared as Lara Croft in the past include Natalie Cook, Rhona Mitra, Vanessa Demouy, Lara Weller and Lucy Clarkson.
The Tomb Raider film is released in the UK on 6 July.
