Jessica and Nick Break-Up

During an interview with The Early Show on June 4th, Jessica Simpson said that she and 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey were no longer a couple. Jessica said that she hadn't seen Nick in three months although the two still often talk on the phone. She said that it was too hard being apart for such long periods of time and she needed to focus on her career. Jessica then enthusiastically performed three songs for a New York audience in support of her new album "Irrisistable."

Jessica Simpson will be making other appearances this week. She'll be in Paramus, NJ, signing autographs before performing with *N Sync at Giant's Stadium on Tuesday, June 5th. Then Wednesday, June 6th, Jessica will be in Burbank, California, signing autographs at the Burbank Megastore.
