Kate Hudson Talks on Career
She's only 21, and she's already nominated for an Oscar. Is Kate Hudson looking forward to a long and happy career in films?
"I knew what I was going to do, and I knew I'd have my own career. And so did my mother," Hudson, daughter of actress Goldie Hawn, told Harper's Bazaar magazine in its March issue.
Hudson is nominated for best-supporting actress for her role in "Almost Famous," directed by Cameron Crowe.
What does she believe is the key to long-term success in acting?
"I think it is about the choices you make and the talent you have as an actor," Hudson told the magazine. "And then there's also a part of it I've learned from my parents, which is that you can't ever take it too seriously. You have nothing to do with this machine. Nothing. Your work does; you don't."
Her upcoming films include "Four Feathers," a wartime period piece starring Heath Ledger and Wes Bentley.
