Aaron Carter To Join Seussical

Pop star Aaron Carter will hop aboard the cast of Broadway's Seussical April 4 in the role of JoJo, the big-"Think"ing young Who who saves Whoville.

He'll join Cathy Rigby, recently on Broadway in Peter Pan, who takes over the lead role of the Cat in the Hat March 15.

The 13-year-old Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, is the rage of Radio Disney and other pop stations with his hit single "(I Want) Candy" and his hit CD "Aaron's Party." His other hits include Crush on You," "Crazy Little Party Girl," "Shake It" and "That's How I Beat Shaq," the latter a fantasy about playing basketball with Shaquille O'Neill.

He'll get to sing "Anything's Possible," "Alone in the Universe" and other numbers in the Ahrens and Flaherty score. He replaces Anthony Blair-Hall who originated the role of JoJo.
