Alexis Bledel Stars in Movie

Alexis Bledel's life and career has been moving in an upward direction since landing the Rory role in the WB's Gilmore Girls. Since the WB series debuted, she and the show have received praise from TV critics and a growing fanbase. Now Alexis is taking this momentum and moving into movies.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alexis Bledel is in negotiations to play the lead role in a Disney adaptation of Natalie Babbit's children's novel "Tuck Everlasting."

"Tuck Everlasting" is about a young girl who discovers her neighbors have a spring which can halt the aging process.

Also starring are William Hurt and Ben Kingsley as the lead villain. Jay Russell (My Dog Skip) will direct the film.
