Cox Talks About Weight Issue

Courteney Cox Arquette has been criticized in the media for being too thin, but after playing "Fat Monica'' on the NBC sitcom "Friends,'' she knows she never wants to put on weight.

Arquette appears on the show in sporadic flashbacks to her character Monica's younger days, when she was overweight.

"It took me about three hours get me into 'Fat Monica' makeup. But when I become her, I become the most uninhibited person in the world,'' the actress says in the March issue of Jane magazine.

"I'd do this dance in front of the audience called 'the popcorn.' Made me feel like I wouldn't ever want to be fat,'' she said. "It's hot to be fat. And I don't mean hard. I mean hot.''
