Lucy Liu Clears Air

``Ally McBeal'' star Lucy Liu wants to put to rest the rumors that she tangled with Bill Murray during the filming of the movie version of ``Charlie's Angels.''

Liu, 31, said she and the comedian had some creative differences about one scene, but their disagreement never became physical.

``The rumors started going crazy that I swung at him. This guy is like 6-foot-2. I wasn't going to pull out kung fu on him,'' Liu says in the Oct. 28 issue of TV Guide.

She said she and Murray were on good terms after making the film, in which she co-stars with Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore.

``When I saw the movie, I called him up and left him a message and told him how wonderful he was,'' Liu said.

The film is scheduled to be released in November.
