Mandy Moore's Film Debut

Mandy Moore will take her first step into the film world - as a saucy teen.

Despite her squeaky clean image, the singer can't wait to play the part of bad girl in forthcoming flick "The Princess of Tribeca" - and she's also glad to be getting some 'boy action'.

She reveals, "I get to play the really mean, rude, crude, popular girl in school who's always making out with her boyfriend. The one who gets ice cream in her face. It's going to be fun."

Mandy joins rival teen singing sensation Britney Spears in bidding for big screen stardom - the superstar also recently signed up for a new movie project.
