Ex-90210 Star to Wed

Now that Jennie Garth's decade-long run on Fox soap "Beverly Hills, 90210" is over, the blond actress is shifting her focus to family.

Garth, 28, will marry her real-life Dylan, actor Peter Facinelli, in January, People reports. The two became engaged last summer during a nighttime dip in their Los Angeles swimming pool. Facinelli, 26, told the April issue of US Weekly, "It was a really beautiful night, and everything was calm and still. I just decided right then and there."

Facinelli, who's appeared in The Big Kahuna with Kevin Spacey and in the sci-fi thriller Supernova, was born in Queens, N.Y. The couple met in 1995 while working on a TV movie called An Unfinished Affair (tee hee).

They began dating soon after Garth's divorce from her husband of two years, Dan Clark, in 1996. Garth and Facinelli originally said they planned on tying the knot this summer; no reason for the delay was given.

The pair has a 3-year-old daughter, Luca Bella. This is Facinelli's first marriage.

As for Garth's post-90210 plans, the actress has said she hopes to direct her first film, which could possibly be an adaptation of the novel "The Rapture of Canaan."
